Authorised Stories for Bonus Mission Pack - Guild Wars Forums

are storybooks from the Bonus Mission Pack able to be authorised multiple times, allowing me to get a few of the reward weapons, or can i only authorise a storybook once and get only 1 reward weapon?

You may only get 1 authorized copy per story book, but you may complete as many story books as you want for as many weapons as you want. There is also Discovery Mode available, which allows you to obtain 3 authorized copies per mission per account in return for completing 3 hidden objectives within each mission. 1 book = 1 item. However, completing achievements will grant you extra books so you can get multiple items in a single mission if you do them.

Completing achievements will also quit giving you money for completing a task in Bonus Missions so if you find a steady flow of income enjoyable you might want to steer clear from turning them in. You can still get the weapons but you'll have to do the mission again if you want another weapon.

Wait, what do you mean by steady flow of income? I thought the money rewards are only given once per mission/bonus, regardless of whether you've done the bonuses or not? o:

I've done the Togo mission at least forty times across several different characters to outfit my heroes. It rewards 500g every time, even after completing the bonus goals.

Still, I doubt I'll be using it as a source of income. Spending 15 minutes to make 500g is not exactly the best use of one's time. Farming pretty much any zone for 15 minutes is likely to give you more than 500 just by identifying and merching stuff.

As an added bonus to equipping your heroes, I guess it's nice. Then again, BMP weapons are not the first thing I'd resort to for that unless you want to do it on the absolute cheap. A little money will get you 20/20 staves for the casters and decent weapons for physicals, not to mention buying cheap greens.
